Sunday Dragon Boat Training

Try your hand at Dragon Boat, the ultimate team sport where 20 paddlers work together to move a 12 m boat through the water smoothly and quickly! It is a great way to make friends, gain a higher level of fitness, and have fun! Dragon Boat trainings for all level, newbies are welcome! Walk towards to Marina Part/Danube river on Meder street and cross the pedestrian bridge to Népsziget, our base is the first on the right, you'll see the dragon boats on the water. 4000 HUF/traning (including English coaching, paddle, PDF/life jacket, changing room, shower, etc.) Open for all expats, international students, etc. Clothes: dragon boating is a water sport and we get wet. Top: dri-fit shirts or rashguards. Avoid 100% cotton because when cotton get wet, it does not keep you warm and it gets heavy. Bottoms: Board shorts or spandex tights. Shoes: Sandals or flip-flops but some members prefare to go barefoot. Join the Budapest Dragons, the forming international dragon boat team of Budapest. We start with one weekly training in March while our first goal is joining the first race in June.
