I’m a twenty year old kid and that’s about it.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, love, learn. Go with the flow and by your own principles. Someone once told me; `Don't let anyone hold you back and fly`. And that’s the simple truth. Live by your own rules and have a beautiful life.
Strive for excellence but don’t let it hold you back, try out new things and meet new people. All experiences are good experiences, even the ones that don’t seem that great at the time.
Be adventurous, spontaneous and simply live.

I’ve just recently started using CouchSurfer so I haven’t really had any experiences so far, but I am sure they’ll all be great.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films, music and books.

When it comes to films I like artsy movies, the ones that use colour and music to enhance its beauty. And the characters need to be deep and complex. Two favourites that comes to mind are `Jeux d'enfants` and `Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain`. I also tend to like weird peculiar films, and independent movies are a must. Still, it all depends on the mood. You might even find me sipping over a Bollywood movie one fine day.

I simply adore music. I especially like alternative and indie. There is only one band I’ve stuck with since childhood and that’s the Norwegian alternative rock band Kaizers Orchestra. They’re simply amazing. Otherwise you might find me listening to: Bright Eyes, Babyshambles, Radiohead, Phoenix, Susanne Sundfør, The Beach Boys, Kings of Convenience, Nneka, Ziggy Marley, Regina Spektor, Tegan and Sara, Fink, Mumford and Sons, Joy Division, and the list goes on. I am also quite fascinated by Drum and Bass and Dubstep.

`perks of being a wallflower` is my all time favourite book. It’s sublime. A must read.
Other books I enjoy reading again and again include: Peer Gynt, Haugtussa, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Alchemist, The Little Prince, The Catcher in The Rye, The Stranger and The Hobbit.

Also worth mentioning is my love for storytelling. I simply adore the simplistic art of it. It’s captivating. So anyone that can tell a good story will make my day brighter.
