About Me
CURRENT MISSION
New encounters and new friends
ABOUT ME
Teacher, journalist, vegetarian, dancer (mostly salsa and kizomba, sometimes a bit of lindy hop). And a lot of other things.
I live with my husband, a Palestinian IT nerd whom I met at a couch surfing event.
I've moved around a bit in the world. Lived, worked and studied in France, Palestine/Israel, USA and Ecuador.
Now I've landed again back in my home town. Still feel the urge to travel some times, but mostly I just love being back home and letting the world come to me.
PHILOSOPHY
Toughest question so far. Hope I'll have an answer some day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't find as much time to travel as I would like, and hosting people is a great substitute for traveling myself. I host in my apartment in Örebro whenever I can, and I try to make at least one trip a year myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started hosting in my home in Örebro a few years ago and I'm so glad I did. It's been a great experience with some really great people.
I've also made a few trips around Europe with a friend of mine and we were hosted by some awsome people.
Also, the CS crowd in Örebro are a great group of friends with activities almos every week.
Interests
Dancing, reading, traveling. But mostly just hanging out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: most latin music. Los van van, Guayacán, Hector Lavoe, Maná, Juanes... And pretty much anything that you can dance to.
Book: I don't have a best of-list. To mention a few: Salman Rushdie, John Irving, Isabell Allende, Majgull Axelsson, Khaled Hosseini...Come check out my book shelves if you're curious.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one thing? I tend to think a lot of things are amazing. But ok, I once camped in the middle of a rave party in the Golan hights. And managed to sleep all night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I could teach you some salsa steps, or bachata. I'm always happy when I get a chance to dance.
Or I could give you my analysis of the Swedish media marked, if you are nerdy enough to be interested.
Or we could just try to solve the whole political world crisis. Still working on that, I could use some help.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully good company if you want to chat. Or I can just stay out of your way :-)
