À propos de moi

I am currently doing my PhD in History (Medieval Age) at Ankara University, and I’ve been living in Ankara for many years. I’ve traveled to 72 cities across Turkey so far, and my goal is still to visit every single one. I’ve also had the chance to travel abroad many times. Exploring different cultures and experiencing new ways of life is one of my biggest passions. I usually travel on a very low budget. For example, I once traveled through Iran, Azerbaijan, and Georgia for 27 days with only $150. In Turkey, I almost always hitchhike — not just to save money, but because it's a great way to meet people. So far, I’ve hitchhiked in 1,374 different cars — yes, I keep count!
I love music, nature, and of course, traveling. I'm also passionate about books, movies, TV series, and learning about different languages, cultures and cuisines. I use Couchsurfing not only for accommodation, but also to help travelers in need, exchange stories, and connect with people from all over the world.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I truly believe that travel is more meaningful when it connects people.
As a traveler myself, I know how valuable it is to find a warm place to stay and someone local to talk to — not just for saving money, but to understand a place through its people.

I use Couchsurfing both to find accommodation while I’m traveling, and to help fellow travelers who come to Ankara.

I live right in the heart of Ankara, a city that many people pass through — so if you’re coming by, feel free to say hi :)

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can share many stories from my travels across Turkey and abroad — especially my crazy hitchhiking experiences!

If you're interested in Turkish history or culture, I’d be happy to share what I know — I study History and I’m always excited to talk about the all history of world.

I also enjoy cooking, and I’d love to prepare a simple Turkish meal for you if we have the chance.

Besides that, I’m always up for a good conversation, a walk around the city, or just talking about movies, series or books and literature. I try to bring a positive energy and a respectful attitude wherever I go.
