About Me

Hey there, fellow wanderers! I’m Vlad.

I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust — staying in one place for too long has never been my thing. But during the lockdown times, I’ve been learning to slow down a bit.

I love meeting new people and hearing stories from all over the world.

While traveling, I’ve met incredible people from different countries who inspired me in many ways. That’s why I try to help fellow travelers feel at home wherever they are.

“Though we travel the world to find the beautiful, we must carry it within us or we find it not.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Glad to make new friends, share experiences and stories.
Thanks to this platform, I’ve met wonderful people I would have never crossed paths with otherwise.
I really respect the philosophy of CS and those who follow it. Personally, for me, it’s the best way to travel because it lets you fully dive into the culture of another country.

As an important reminder — CS is NOT about a freeloading mentality.

Interests

When I travel, I like to live like a local, go to the neighborhood cafes, shop with the local merchants and street markets, visit museums, go for walks, picnic in the park, people-watch from
park benches, etc.
