I’m Tsai, Taiwanese. (Taiwan is NOT part of China.) Wild that this app changes “Taiwan” to “Province of China” without asking.
Thanks, but no thanks. 😉
Been around, still love Taiwan the most.
So now I spend more time learning it, sharing it.
I’m a PM in crowdfunding, and a startup legal advisor (10+ yrs).
Used to work in criminal court - legal background, plus a lot more.
I can help you out in Taiwan.
But if you hurt people or this place, I can also make sure you don’t leave.
Love deep chats, philosophy, politics, you name it.
Also into cooking and late-night city roaming.
Former lead organizer of mass protests — marched with tens of thousands for LGBT marriage rights.
Taiwan is now the first in Asia to legalize it.
Taiwan’s easy to love, hard to say goodbye.
You’ll see.

【Me as a Host】
1. Keep clean and tidy. I don’t charge, but I still pay every time I host — as a shared cost for the apartment.
2. I work hard and need rest — be back before 10 PM. We leave at 8:20 AM, Mon to Fri
3. Couch = living room, not a private room.
And yes, a couch is not a bed.
I have 2 couches — if you're coming with someone, say so. Otherwise, one account = one person.
4. First-timers: 1–2 nights only.
Longer stays? Possible, if you actually follow the rules.
Some awesome surfers stayed up to 90 days. It depends on your behaviour and my schedule.
5. No shoes inside.
Shower before bed, gotta keep the couch clean.
6. Neighbors are 70+.
Quiet after 11 PM, don’t get me in trouble.
You make it hard for me, I won’t make it easy for you.
7. Ask me anything.
Follow the rules — you’ll have a great time.
Break them — you won’t.
【Me as a Traveller】
1. I have a sleeping bag with me and can sleep anywhere, but not in the same bed as the host .
2. Always happy to help, with anything!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
China keeps trying to crush Taiwan’s space in the world.
People once said democracy wouldn’t survive in China’s shadow — now Taiwan thrives as one.
They said East Asia couldn’t embrace progress — yet we elected our first (and best!) female president, and in 2019, became the first in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage.
Taiwan’s story wasn’t meant to succeed — but it did. And I’m here to share that with you :)
Supporting gay rights ≠ being gay.
I’m not here for sex with anyone — respect yourself, and respect me.
