*JUST MOVED TO LA PLATA (BUENOS AIRES), ARGENTINA🇦🇷 LOOKING TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS*
*My fiancé, our dog and I live in a cosy apartment close to the centre of Kaunas and right by the train and bus stations. Since we have an extra room with a couch we enjoy hosting some travellers and adventurers. We are happy meeting new people and sharing experiences. Both of us spent multiple summers working and travelling around the US. We did this as a summer exchange program and we were working there selling educational books for American families with Southwestern Advantage company. We made many cool friendships travelling around the world and also hosting people, so we are glad to continue this experience in our homecountry. We also hope that you love dogs, our mallinois boy Eko is a friendly and lovely compagnion *
Summer 2020 we got back to our home country after living 8 months in Spain (Denia, Alicante) where I was doing an internship in a Lithuanian school.
I am a Spanish teacher and from September I am working in two secondary schools in Kaunas as well as teaching private Spanish classes online.
In the evening I am taking university classes, so my schedule is busy at this moment it does not leave me a lot of free time.
Myself I am in love with exploring and travelling. Summer 2021 I visited Ciudad de Mexico and then spent my 5th summer in the Texas, US selling educational books door to door with Southwestern Advantage program.
I also have spent two semesters studying in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spajn) and in a little paradise called Càdiz (Andalucía, Spain).
My BIGGEST PASSION though is WALKING. I walked St. James Way (Camino de Santiago) in Northern Spain of 840 km in a month!

PROUD OF: Have done 5 summers in the USA as an exchange student with Southwestern Advantage selling educational books door to door to American families. This experience has made me more tough mentally, more adventurous and gave me a lot of confidence and courage to do big things in life.
I have lived and worked in different places in US: Albuquerque (New Mexico State), Birmingham (Alabama), Austin (Texas), El Paso (Texas), Rio Grande area (Texas).

What I Can Share with Hosts
My TOP recommendations for visiting Kaunas (you will find more under the house description):
First, go to Tourist info center and get the map for the street art in Kaunas (you can see quite a few pieces of amazing graffities all around the city center and oldtown!).
An amazing composition of street art: Kiemo Galerija

A super cool museum "Atomic Bunker" of Russian KGB spies and the World War II and The Cold War (you only can come booking a tour in advance):

Also, a very cool ride with old-fashioned Funicular in Žaliakalnis (a neirbourhood just right by the center): https://goo.gl/maps/sVXV4AtTJEK8QtN69
Finally, Santaka (The Neris and Nemunas rivers croos together). You will find it by the Castle at the end of the oldtown: https://goo.gl/maps/FdvPJJwj7hmVr4At7
