ABOUT ME

I'm a young open-minded women who loves to travel, discover new things, new places, new people, new custom, etc. I have lived in 3 different places already (Lille, my hometown, Cleveland, Ohio in 05/06 for an exchange program in a host family, Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 07/10 for college). Since september 2010, i'm living in Brussels, Belgium.

I study in a theatre school and have always been interested in art, literature and cultural events. I am also developing whenever i have the time a talent in my other interests : dance, photography, writing, singing.

People say i'm nice, caring, polite, crazy at times (the good kind of crazy),respectful. I can speak French and English. I know a little Spanish and few words in Italian. I'd love to improve these last two and to learn German and/or Deutsch.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life's short, therefore, I want to make sure i don't waste it and that i don't regret anything. So I try to always be true to myself, open-minded and understanding. The world is big and very diverse, it's important to be curious about it and look at what's going on outside my little shell.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I can't host anyone since my place is very small and my roommates not very secure about hosting someone they don't know. Moreover, my studies and my work take so much of my time, I could not enjoy time with new people at the moment. But as soon as I get more time and room, I'll be more than happy to host couch surfers.

I like this concept of couch surfing, and do share the values of making a world more open-minded and safer. I have hosted a lot of people (friends from all over the world travelling) already and always try to be the best host possible (make sure the host is comfortable, enjoys his time, knows where to go, what to visit).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Niagara Falls, Living abroad, going to great concerts (Bjork, Arcade Fire in a parking lot, concerts in little places like hidden bars, factories, etc), New York, Working in the Avignon Festival, Getting lost trought thunderstorm at midnight in a city i do not know and finding my way back, etc.
