Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The Barn is cautiously opening its doors again to couch surfers. We recently decided to take a break from couchsurfing because we have had some experience where we feel used. Couch surfing used to be for fun weird people who enjoy getting into the culture of a place. We've had some couch surfers who just come and go and see the most boring touristic shit and aren't interested in the real Sydney. Yawn. These people should use airbnb. We are not airbnb.
Also if you have any suspicion that you might have bed bugs do not come here. We had a couch surfer who did this: it cost us 1000 dollars to fix. (It is well and truly fixed now). If you have even the slightest sign of this bug problem politely stay far away.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Participate by hosting & being hosted.
Note: if you want to stay at the Barn - you have got to be kinda' weird... we prefer musicians, performers, artists, freaks. Not so much office drones who 'want to save money' while draining the world of culture. It's ok if you are both.

Sunset each day. Solar eclipse in Qld 2012, Oregon in 2017, Burning Man was awesome, just living in the Barn day by day is magic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can draw caricatures in about 7 minutes, basically I have a lot of party tricks.
I also own a pretty big jumping castle.
- I can clean,cook, lift. People say I'm a pretty good story teller too.
