About Me

::::::::::::::: BEFORE REQUESTING ::::::::::::::::::

If you want better chances
- write something personal
- how can you contribute?
- I wont consider empty, half-baked profiles
- If you have other public profiles, could be a good idea to link to that

- Write BAMM in the top of the request so I know you at least read this part.

and I wont reply calls from foreign numbers

as the saying goes, when in denmark do what the danes do.

Ride the bike every day, everywhere, Hang out at parks, (Assistens kirkegaard, Valby Parken, Kongens have, are some of many good parks)

We actually have some really nice beaches, go to Amager Beach when its warm and sunny.

Drink beers on the streets.

The bohemian area is Nørrebro, lots of diversity there, cheap bars and food, and interesting communities (Not to be confused with Nørreport)

The little mermaid is a trap..

Before you arrive, I strongly advice to get following apps:

DONKEY REPUBLIC - Cheap and convenient bike rental in all of europe. Connect creditcard
app store: https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/donkey-republic/id933526449

DOT tickets - (also in English) - easiest way to buy public transport tickets
app store: https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/dot-tickets/id582247244

CITYMAPPER - good and easy map, showing almost all ways to get around town. Also shows Donkey and Lime vehicles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to exercise my intuition and trust in complete strangers.

I want a world where a person from the other side of earth, is treated the same way as if he was a neighbor.

The whole world can be your backyard if you vibe with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

"do something every day that scares you" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfq_A8nXMsQ

"education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." - WB Yeats

I threw away my lists of favorite things; list of songs, movies, books ect. to instead focus my attention on whatever happens to be on the table, whatever life throws in my head. The things that are not captured to then be "replayed" or "re-experienced". To focus my attention on the experiences which are uncaptured and spontaneous creations of this very moment. I'm exploring the idea that the more you try to capture an experience, the more distant it will feel. So far, this seems to be true, and not just for experiences.

.. but if you know a book, movie, song or piece of art that will tickle my heart, fuck with my brain, fool around with my spirit, give birth to bold ideas, I'll probably give it a shot ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009 I dropped everything in my hands and went on a solo-trip. I was offered one one-way train-ticket to Paris, one day in advance, I took the leap. Ever since, I have loved traveling alone. I backpacked for 9 months alone 2012.

Exercising the idea that the present is all there is. It is all there ever was. And it is all there will ever be.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share stories, we can share silence, we can laugh, we can meditate, we can explore, we can jam with instruments, we can share a meal, we can play games, we can bike around, i have a spare bike. You can teach me anything. Whatever passion you may have, I'd love to know more about it.

Some fields that I haven't explored much, but would love to learn more about are:
Film production
Event management
Art and craft of storytelling
Art and craft of anything really
