ABOUT ME

I am a wife and mother of three children 17,12 and 9
I spent a lot of my young adulthood living and travelling abroad as did my husband. We both enjoyed our travels and would love the chance to give something back to young people or families wanting to visit Ireland. Our travels are temporarily constrained..so we are keen to host yours!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We offer a warm space and an experience of our family , recently however we have had quite a lot of requests from people who are passing through on their way to a festival and want one night...who often don't even have a profile completed! Also people who we have accepted ...prepared for ...and who just haven't turned up. This has made us a little jaded about couchsurfing hence the not accepting guests headline. If you want a place to stop for the night and that's it perhaps airbnb will suit you better

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my day I hitch hiked and made friends along the way. There are wonderful hospitable people everywhere who can expand your horizons and enrich you. You also learn that there are so many similarities in humankind no matter what their culture
