My current mission is to be happy! I'm doing what I love, learning as much as I can and enjoying life

ABOUT ME

I love to have fun, dance in the rain, and generally be with my friends. I drink on occasion, but not terribly often. I don't smoke or do drugs but I don't mind those that do. I absolutely love to read and usually have at least two books with me everywhere I go! Generally I enjoy fiction but I pretty open. My favorite authors right now are Chuck Palahniuk and Toni Morrison.I am a stage manager which means I am backstage in the dark. Which also means I am excellent at seeing in the dark. I love to travel, though I don't get a change to do much of it. I don't care for drama and usually get along with most everyone I meet :)

I am still finding my personal philosophy right now. I believe that life is and it is important to laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am mostly looking to surf. Because I am between homes I don't have a couch to offer. I will be happy to grab a cup of coffee with you though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a little couch surfing in Chicago with friends of friends and in Ann Arbor. I love being able to have others to talk to about the city and their experience living there. It was nice to come home to a real home!

Music, Movies, and Books

I will tolerate most movies but I really like movies such as Amelie, La Vie en Rose, Snatch, Finding Nemo ( actually most Pixar) its a long list of movies.... Music is an equally long list. I enjoy pretty much everything except rap, heavy metal and most country music. I really enjoy Panic At the Disco, megan mullally, Ingrid michaelson, and flogging molly at the moment. Books is mostly fiction- a tree grows in brooklyn, the time travlers wife, winnie-the -pooh, the princess bride, Ishmael by Quinn and the list could continue for pages, really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim when I was 11. Sunrise inside the canyon is pretty incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose I would like to teach others a easy-going outlook on life, a way to see the silver lining of any situation, to enjoy art in all forms. I would love to learn anything you want to teach me. I am interested in other cultures, alternate views of the world that could inform my view.
