"Are you a funny person?", asks CS "Serious, contemplative, wacky, adventurous, whimsical?"
I mean, all of them.
I, mean, I think so?
"Having difficulty deciding what to write?", it continues, taunting now.
In conclusion: it is possible to deduce this information from the rest of my profile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have surfed and hosted....was on hospitality club briefly before CS.
I have thus far "participated" as above. And that's my experience. It's been rad.
Theatre, fine arts, performing arts, film, music, animation, dance, opera, poetry, puppetry, literature, psychoanalysis.
And, uh, travelling...
Music, Movies, and Books
Three favourite films that come to mind: Celine and Julie Vont en Bateau, Jan Svankmajer's Alice, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
STOP MOTION ANIMATION <3
I LOVE MUSIC. Fave genres include: opera, baroque, fado, blues, folk. I love singing.
I like poetry, plays, novels, graphic novels, short stories...e.g. Terry Castle, Chris Kraus, Edward Albee, Italo Calvino, Samuel Beckett, Brenda Shaughnessey, Adrienne Rich, Kaja Silverman...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Erm, I was an Orc. Well, an extra in "Lord of the Rings" (so was half of Wellington, but shhh). Amaaaazing, right?!
Teach, Learn, Share
I really want to find a Brazilian Portuguese intercambio buddy or anyone wanting to swap Korean for English. The latter would have to be pretty patient!
Tell me your folklore and teach me your language.
I love sharing stories, experiences, adventures....
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach basic piano, guitar, voice...very basic ukulele and harmonica. I have been an English teacher so I would like to think I could teach English but that may be a moot point. Can teach you some stuff about the culture of Aotearoa...
Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
