About Me

Hello! My name is Aaron and I've recently come back from a 2 month bike tour and am hoping to pay it forward by hosting as I have been hosted. I love so much about CS and want to continue it going as much as I can!

I live in Denver with my partner and we are fairly new to the area. So that means we may find an adventure to go on together :) Generally though, we like to hike, play games, have fires, have great conversation, drink good beer and just generally see where the moment takes us.

That said, if you just want a place to crash for a night and aren't in the mood to socialize, no problem! I have been there! But if you want more, it's there as well.

Also: I tend to only take folks who have either hosted before and/or have some reference. I mean, if you can't even bother to have a friend make an account and vouch for you, IDK man...don't let that detract you from reaching out but this is just wisdom from the community.

Also also: We would definitely prefer if you are fully COVID vaccinated.

420 Friendly (I mean, it is Colorado after all)
LGBTQ+ Friendly (we hope you are as well)

I'll do my best to accommodate last minute requests, as that is the nature of the traveling beast sometimes. But at least a day or two notice would be preferable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just want the chance to meet new people and help people along their journey just as they have helped me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything HBO, usually non-fiction strikes my fancy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked up to a volcano in Guatemala once and my shoes started to melt!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is probably the most important one on this list. It's the most important to me, anyways. Without a good sense of sharing with one another, be it stories, thoughts, food, etc. than the entire idea behind something like this falls apart. It is the conduit in which we are taught and the only way we learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can...

- Make a mean stir fry

- Play songs on acoustic guitar and piano (not amazing but we'll get ya to the chorus in one piece!)

- Offer amateur counseling (I'm not licenced yet, but am always able to offer advice!)

- Walk your animals

- Tune up or repair your bicycle

- Non-creepy massage
