Hello! My name is Abbey and I am a Canadian working in Milan as an Au Pair. It is my first time in Europe and I have been loving it so far! I au pair for two little girls during the week and travel as much as I can on weekends/ holidays. Looking to make the most out of this trip as I’m so far away from home I plan on traveling to as many places as possible/ make loads of new pals.

I am daughter number four out of five girls of my split family, and my sisters who have traveled have recommended coach surfing to me ever since I got here. As not only is it great to travel on a budget and make great friends. I am also traveling on a budget as au pairs make very little.

My music taste ranges from late 50s- current music, if you went through my playlist it’s pretty all over the place with some of The Smiths to 90s R&B. I am all about movies, most of my favourite are thrillers I would have to say. Books I have of course been very into, recently been reading a lot of Jane Austen though!

There’s so many amazing things I have experienced these past few months/ my time traveling in Australia but I would have to say visiting the Great Barrier Reef was one for the books.
