I have spent the past 7 months backpacking around South East Asia and the Middle East. In August I move to Moscow, Russia to start a new teaching post at an international school. I love techno and some types of house music. I try to attend as many festivals as I can abroad so that I can combine it with travelling. I am passionate about the environment and cooking. I live a vegan lifestyle in a house full of meat eaters.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am hoping it will ease the transition when I move to Russia as it would be great to meet and connect with locals, expats and travellers. In the meantime, I hope to make the most of couchsurfing in the UK.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a short concentration span so I prefer light hearted movies. However one of my favourite films is The Perks of being a Wallflower. I love Emma Watson and her work with the UN. I didn't start reading until about 2 years ago. Every book I have read I enjoyed for different reasons. I started with Survival of the Killing Fields. I cried during every chapter discovering what happened during the Karma Rouge take over but it was very informative. Some of my favourite DJs include Amelie Lens, Agents of Time, Dave Clarke, Mind Against and Tale of Us. There's so many I love the list goes on and on.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Shared my passion for public speaking, debating and the environment with the children I teach. I supported three 10 year olds in qualifying for a debating competition at Yale.
