ABOUT ME

I'm a singer-songwriter and, formerly, aspiring cultural studies scholar.
I left my day job in 2010 to pursue music making full-time-ish. Since then, I recorded my first album (after a decade of playing solo and in bands) and have been touring across Canada, largely via trains, rideshares and Greyhound buses. I also do freelance editing/proofreading work to help keep the lights on, though I'm not currently in possession of any lights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though brand new to CS, I've surfed countless couches in my travels. I think there's something incredibly special about these sometimes-brief, always-memorable alliances. Above all, I never cease to be touched and humbled by people's generosity. I just feel like this sort of experience brings out the best in people.

Intereses

I love music, grammar, languages, reading (mostly nonfiction), campfires, hiking, swimming, movies, desserts... I am pretty much interested in most things.
