About Me
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Southern California in Los Angeles County. When I started college, I moved to Northern California, just across the bay from San Francisco. In my second year of school, I decided that it was time for me to start exploring the world, so I applied and by late summer of the following year, I had jetted off to Hong Kong to live and study for a semester. While abroad, I made it a point to sample other parts of the Asian continent as well.
Although I haven't had many opportunities to do it yet, I love traveling, and have made it a major priority in my life.
PHILOSOPHY
Food. Need I say more?
Just kidding. I believe that, beyond a certain threshold, things will always work out. So relax.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I currently cannot offer a couch for travelers, I am totally willing to meet up if you're ever in the area!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I have only met up with people for food, and it was really great to be able to meet people from such diverse backgrounds. I am hoping to meet up with some locals to experience some local culture during my upcoming trip to Costa Rica!
Interests
I love good FOOD, so everywhere I go, my priority is to find the best hole-in-the-wall eateries. I was a foodie before it become a thing. I love learning about other cultures and languages. One of my favorite things about traveling is the cultural exchange, and the opportunity to connect with such a diverse crowd of people. I also love history and sampling music.

Music, Movies, and Books
East of Eden, The Little Prince, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, The Namesake
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving in the Filipino waters on a whim, without training, 15 hours before I boarded a flight.
Oh, and I can't swim.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I mentioned before, I love open minds. We don't all need to agree on all issues, and it would be great if we could hold a lively and friendly debate on the issues that we can't agree on. I love learning from people who are happy to agree to disagree at the end of a long-winded debate.
