Sad but a lesson learnt. Live as much as you can. I think I wanna travel with my money and not really end up waiting until it's too late. Couchsurfing to me is a unique way of trusting people you generally won't trust. I'm not at all fussy (anymore) and can really be minimal about comfort. Lets hope I make a good guest and maybe get a chance to host people too. PS: I'm a Lawyer, my reference would go a long way 😂
