Hello, I'm Adam and I’ve been living in Hong Kong for around one year, where I work as a Conservation Scientist :) I'm from the UK but have previously lived on a tiny Atlantic island called Ascension, also China, Malaysia and Honduras. In past lives I have worked as a Scuba Divemaster and Nightclub Bartender. I like wildlife/drinks/surfing/photography/raves/punk music/ukulele/long hikes/veggie food/chilling with new people. My spare bedroom close to central Hong Kong is often available and I really enjoy making genuine friends with people who stay. I work regular hours during the weekdays so often can’t hang during the daytime but often up for things in the evening - especially food or a drink or music! Weekend activities - mostly up for hiking/swimming/kayaking etc, or else something on the arty/edgy side. I’m afraid I’ve done the walking tour of HK city too many times so you’ll have to do that in my absence 😂 Pls be my friend

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love going on holiday with my old friends, but some of my favorite-ever memories are with new friends I've met in hostels/buses/beaches! Now I feel super fortunate for having great friends in random places around the world and I want to make more. Most recent Couchsurfing adventure was in Tbilisi, Georgia, where we went out clubbing, shared an apartment, and I got a huge tattoo..!! I haven't used Couchsurfing very much because I hate using my phone, but I have already made a couple of awesome friends from here and I promise to check my messages.
Music, Movies, and Books
I would love to accompany to you any kind of live or electronic music at all, but my headphone-regulars are punk music, techno and drum and bass :). I am not good at watching films or reading. You can give me some recommendations if you like and I promise I’ll forget.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Lived in a desert island for two years and in the middle of the Borneo rainforest for two years before that..!
