Overview
About Me
I'm a Colombian with early American cultural admixture, which has given me a bi-cultural and bilingual outlook and worldview. Currently residing in Denver, CO... I'm dying to meet others with atypical mindsets and perspectives, to share stories, beers and –why not– adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of meeting other people with "citizen of the world" outlooks, and being able to share experiences and perspectives across cultures and nationalities.
Interests
Music making, music listening and even music watching; I also read, write, illustrate and try to find new creative outlets every day. Hiking, camping, the outdoors, but also the quirky urban indoors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Complete a high mountain trek around El Cocuy national park in Colombia, against bad initial odds and surprising myself in the process.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a native Spanish speaker with early-in-life English fluency, so if anyone can benefit from some semi-pedagogic practice and/or conversation in either, I'd be more than happy. I'd also love to learn some more Portuguese (I have a rusty recollection of some handbook phrases I once learned to get by).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I very much enjoy cooking for others, so that's something I'd be glad to do, maybe even throw in some of the "traditional" dishes and their corresponding fusions within my repertoire.
My stories and experiences on contrasting ends of one big continent, my still budding notions on life on this planet and – more importantly, I think – an attentive ear to others' views and tales and concepts. Also my music if you're actually interested.
