About Me

be a good father and husband, create interesting stuff and connect people and projects which are worth it. and be rich and famous.

i guess i'm a social freak :) i like connecting people and information. i participate in many projects, but rarely finish them. i always like to explore, usually i am rather hyperactive person, but sometimes i also dive down in depressions. i believe it's important to question everything, and still i find myself believe in something bigger than we can even name. i vote for greens, i like to think about myself as of a business guy and i have a heart of an anarchist and dislike the state in most of its forms.

enjoy all the good you can. learn from all the bad. keep the promise. don't promise too much :] live your life in such a way, that when you look back once, you won't feel bad.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

mostly by simply hosting, but I also wrote some articles about HC/CS/BW and I try to explain my friends, why it's so great :) and many of them already joined too. my latest article on CS (September 2012): http://www.babelguide.com/case-studies/couchsurfing-101-101-tips-to-enjoy-the-hospitality-networks (in English)

first I've been a faculty volunteer to take care of exchange students from school of slavonic and east european studies, London. later I've learnt about Hospitality club (hospitalityclub.org), and got quite into it - same id: adamm - http://member.hospitalityclub.org/adamm
it is good that there's more than one site. but since 2008 CS seems more active than HC.

internet (social media, web 2.0, webdesign, net art), travelling, nature (dancing leaves in the sunset being the best evidence of god's existence imho), parties with good music (and its spreading, sharing), design & architecture, history and politics, table football, good food & drinks and interesting ppl, chatting with friends about life, universe and everything... coffee!

Music, Movies & Books

movies: pulp fiction, kusturica's balkan films, david lynch's mysterious stuff, some ol' classics, new german cinema (franka potente!), and not only that :)
music: from beatles to autechre; nujazz, chillout, triphop and idm being most favourite. check my mixes on 8tracks.
books: orwell, huxley, kafka, adams, bondy, eco, hornby, gaiman, charms, palahniuk, murakami, pratchett. and many others. also lot of sci-fi.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I've visited Taizé and I've seen it truly works. as close to God's kingdom, as possible in the real world.

Teach, Learn, Share

how and where to find stuff. little bit on nationalism, history (central europe), media studies, social media for both individuals and corporations. strange stories. connecting people.
