HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling brings positive experiences, and I believe it's important to help people have those experiences. CS is one way I can do that.

I want to offer travelers a nice respite, and a slice of Austin. My house ain't a hotel, so I expect y'all want to spend some quality time with me. I'm looking at you, SXSW'ers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a buncha cool people, and I've surfed with a buncha cool people in Europe. I want to help keep a good thing going.

兴趣

Music is near and dear to my heart, meaning you'll probably find me at a show a couple nights out of the week. You can't live in Austin and not see live music!
You can't spend enough time in parks, as far as I'm concerned. Hiking, swimming, running- these are essential for me to be happy. I just wish Austin had a nice set of mountains nearby! If you're staying with me, I'm taking you kayaking on Ladybird lake, hiking on the green belt, or swimming in Barton Springs, so get ready.
A day without one of the above is a wasted one, and I'll be damned if I miss the chance to have an experience.
I also love talking to my guests about their travels, so be ready for chit chat!

I like that noisy punk shit, as well as chillwave or such some genre. e.g.; of Montreal, Mean Jeans, Beck, Washed Out, Painted Palms, The White Wires.
Movies are cool, but it's rare that I sit through an entire movie when with company- there's cooler stuff to be done!

Hiking in the Grand Canyon blew my mind. But so did Yosemite, Glacier National Park... Get me in the great outdoors and I think it's all amazing, all the time.
