I'm Adnan from Dubai — a city of contrasts, where modern skyscrapers meet desert traditions. I grew up surrounded by diverse cultures, and that inspired my passion for meeting people from all over the world.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience life is through real human connection not just sightseeing, but sharing stories, food, laughter, and perspectives. I love learning how people live in different parts of the world and comparing it with our life in Dubai from the quiet desert nights to the fast-paced energy of the city.

I’m deeply interested in football, culture, classical music, jazz, and trying new cuisines (especially Thai and Asian food!). I enjoy conversations that go beyond small talk about life, travel, philosophy, and random deep topics that make us think.

Couchsurfing gives me the chance to not just welcome travelers, but to show them the real Dubai not just the malls and Burj Khalifa, but the hidden gems, the desert traditions, and how locals live, think, and celebrate life. I can offer a warm welcome, great Arabic food, good vibes, and of course… some relaxing shisha sessions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling across different countries has given me unforgettable experiences each place with its own lesson and story.

In China, I wandered through the history-soaked alleys of Beijing, from the Forbidden City to hidden tea houses, feeling the weight of centuries in every stone. Then in Shanghai, I experienced the opposite a fast-paced, futuristic city where tradition and modern life collide. I shared street food with strangers, took the world’s fastest train, and had deep conversations with people I just met.

Those moments reminded me that the world is full of contrast and that connection can happen anywhere, even across languages and cultures. Whether I’m in the calm of an Omani desert or the chaos of a Chinese metro, I’ve learned to embrace it all with curiosity and respect.
