Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Agnese, an Italian girl currently living in the US as an au pair. I love traveling, running, exploring new cities and meeting people with completely different stories from mine. I’m curious, independent, a bit sarcastic, and always down for a coffee or a deep conversation.
I love laughing, learning, and collecting moments more than things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because people are the best part of traveling.
I love meeting locals, seeing the city through their eyes, exchanging cultures, and creating meaningful connections.
I’m not here just for a free couch — I’m here for the stories, the laughs, and the human side of travel
Interests
Travel, running, nature, photography, psychology, Latin culture, cooking, books, the ocean, hiking, learning new things
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to everything that gives me energy: pop, indie, Latin music.
I love binge-worthy series (Stranger Things has my heart) and travel-related movies.
I enjoy books about personal growth, adventure and real stories
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve done a few things that felt pretty incredible to me.
I hiked a volcano in Guatemala for two days, slept in a mountain hut with strangers, and woke up watching real lava exploding in front of me — one of the wildest moments of my life.
I’ve also traveled solo across Central America with just a backpack, trusting my instincts and the kindness of people I met along the way.
And maybe the biggest one: I moved to the US completely alone, without knowing anyone, and built a whole new life from scratch. Scary, messy, beautiful — and totally worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Italian, a bit of Spanish, simple Italian recipes, and share stories from home.
I love learning new ways of living, different cultures, languages, and habits.
I enjoy sharing walks, food, good talks, funny moments, or just good vibes
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, easy conversation, Italian food (I’ll cook for you!), language exchange, and a lot of gratitude.
I’m respectful, tidy, and used to living in other people’s homes — I take care of everything like it’s my own
