My name is Aga and I'm from Warsaw (100% made in Poland), though I am currently living, loving and working in Vienna. I love traveling to unknown places, meeting inspriring people, cooking heartwarming meals and reading beautiful books. As a translator, I also enjoy learning new languages and discovering various customs around the globe. And I would definitely love to meet you!

I move around a lot, which means I'm very often not home, especially on weekends. I love exploring new cultures and learning new languages. After all, it's part of my job. Best job ever, I guess.

Since I work in a law firm, I am also hard to catch until late afternoon, and afterwards I don't like being lazy, either: I regularly play squash, practice yoga and go climbing, I also teach and take classes in different languages. You are welcome to participate in my daily routine - as long as it's possible and reasonable :)

Anyway, all that is the reason I might decline your requests or why it might take

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I love magic realism (it's what happens to me every day), so I cherish Latin American literature, obviously starting with Gabriel García Marquéz, through Octavio Paz and Jorge Luis Borges to Cortázar. It always amazes me how great poets get so concise yet say so much, so if you're familiar with works of e.e. cummings, T.S. Eliot, Sylvia Plath, Tomasz Różycki, Paul Celan, Jacek Podsiadło, with Rilke, with Christoph Meckel, or if you want to introduce me to your favorite poet - we will definitely have something to talk about.
I'm a great fan of good literature, so basically you name it, and I'll read it :)

I love the idea of skill trading. I have been a teacher for over 6 years now, which gives me an opportunity to work closely with all kinds of people, to see my own weaknesses, to see other people's strengths. There is no happiness in possessing, only in sharing. There is a word in German: "auslernen", which means "to learn enough, to learn fully, to finish your training". I think you can never finish your inner training. The Germans think so too, which is why they have the phrase: "man lernt nie aus" - you live and learn. You never learn enough. Teach others what you can do, and let them teach you.

Definitely food! :) I love cooking for people and with people. I can also teach languages and I know cool places in cities I have lived in. Just ask!
