Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I hope to use CS to meet people around the world who share my love of traveling and adventure. While I don't have any travel plans in my immediate future, I'm hoping to squeeze in a trip this summer, and there's the slight possibility that I'll be teaching English abroad next year. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've never couchsurfed, but I've always wanted to try. When one of my friends told me about her amazing experience couchsurfing, I decided it was time to get involved myself!
Music, Movies, and Books
As far as music is concerned, I listen to a lot and have a capacity to tolerate pretty much anything. Indie rock, electronic, folk, and anything on the radio is what I typically listen to. Favorite artists include Patrick Wolf, Beirut, Ellie Goulding, Phoenix, Peter Bjorn & John, Florence and the Machine, and MGMT. I don't watch many movies anymore. Old favorites include the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Fight Club, Pride and Prejudice, and all of the Disney classics. New favorites include anything that makes me think - movies that don't do what you expect them to. I haven't gotten around to reading new books lately, but I like to revisit old favorites - The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Great Gatsby, 1984, and The Awakening, as well as the Harry Potter series.
My Interests
A good bottle of wine, board games, dancing, crossword puzzles, amazing friends, exciting places, flying, swimming, biking, walking, learning foreign languages and interesting facts, coffee, and lots of other things.
