Hi! My name is Aisulu, but you can call me Ais. I’m from Kazakhstan.
I’m a calm, slightly shy person who loves art, quiet moments, heartfelt conversations, and simple beauty. At first, I may seem reserved, but I’m kind, attentive, and truly curious about people.

Traveling for me is not about luxury or speed — it’s about feeling the place, its energy, its story, and of course, meeting people. I’m especially inspired by ancient buildings and streets that have witnessed centuries. Skyscrapers don’t move me the same way as old temples or ruins full of history.

I want to improve my English and make friends from different parts of the world. Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, become more open, and learn to trust the world and others.

I also really enjoy art and handmade crafts. Since childhood, I’ve loved creating things with my hands — drawing, painting, making things. Now I want to return to art and make more space in my life for creativity. It helps me connect with myself and see the world more deeply.
