I'm a 2nd year student at the University of Pennsylvania, from Sydney, Australia. I'm a pretty keen traveller and really enjoy meeting different people from new places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am going to be traveling with two friends from Sydney from Chicago to Philadelphia in mid-August. We are looking to experience a side of America that we wouldn't simply see as regular tourists, or for that matter in college, and we think that being able to couch-surf with cool and interesting locals from the cities we visit would be an awesome way to have new experiences in the States, and hopefully make some good friends.
I spent July of 2012 doing some volunteer work in Bangalore, India. I was introduced to couch-surfing through a friend of mine volunteering at the same NGO, and immediately liked the idea of bringing together travelers and locals in different cities around the world. I'm new to couch-surfing but am really keen to get involved while traveling later this August.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A day in Rio de Janeiro that started at the top of the Sugar Loaf mountains, before beach soccer on Copacabana and a huge Brazilian barbecue that evening was one of the best days I've ever had traveling. That and seeing the sun set over the Grand Canyon were some pretty special moments for me.
