Overview
About Me
I'm a Hungarian guy from Pécs, living in the suburbs of Budapest with my wife. I consider myself a talkative, optimistic, easy-going and calm person, always ready for new adventures. I'm also friendly according to my friends :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my trips I came to realize that I enjoy more getting to know ppl and broadening my perspectives than visiting touristic places.
I also would like to help people during their travels, host them and show them Budapest.
Interests
I have a wide range of interests. I am interested in sustainability, international politics, history, economics, and the world around me in general.
I like cycling, reading, bouldering, going to festivals and having fun with my old friends or future ones.
A few years ago I started a new habit: I try to read books written by authors from the places I'm visiting. So I'm collecting the title of the favorite books of people I meet through CS. Please let me know if you have some recommendations! :)
I like doing voluntary work. Previously I was a very active member of AEGEE, an international youth organisation. I consider those years maybe the best period of my life. Later for some time I worked as a voluntary Hungarian language teacher of refugees and migrants living in Hungary, and nowadays I try to help building the Hungarian Effective Altruist community.
One of my favorite hobbies is having nice conversations with people I just met. I hope I will have the opportunity to get to know you as well. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have met some of the most wonderful people of the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My good mood, optimism and enthusiasm to listen and learn.
I can teach the basics of bouldering, SQL, some Hungarian card games, and tell you interesting things about the present and past of Hungary. (Its' future - unfortunately - I cannot predict :D )
And of course I can help around the house.
