About Me

Before I begin, please try to go through my profile so that you get to know a tiny bit about me before you send me any request

About me:

I am a fun loving guy who is always excited to meet new people, talk about different cultures, explore new places and it's history, talk about new ideas.

I love to listen to people's experiences with Travel and all aspects of Life in a hope to learn something from it, and of course to share mine. I am always interested in understanding people's beliefs, philosophies, and also to know their hobbies and interests because I think these are some of the most important things that define us.

And if you wanna know more about me, then you should meet me! Hahaha

Philosophy:

Always treat others the way you want to be treated.

Accept people for what they are.

The world has much bigger problems than yours, so never complain and always try to be kind and grateful.

Always keep doing little things to leave this world a better place than what it was when you got into it.

Current Mission:

Travelling and making great new friends ...... !

I think travelling itself and connecting with new people are one of the most wonderful things. We should not take it for granted and should really be grateful if we are able to travel around.

My aim is to travel the world as much as possible and meet new people and share our stories (I believe everyone has got a story to tell).

Answer this question in the very beginning of your request 'which is the favourite city you have ever been to?', which will assure me that you have made an effort to know me by reading my profile hahaha. Otherwise, I will not bother to reply, sorry

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a fan of traveling, I think this is one of the most interesting platform to be on. It suits my interests of knowing people as much as I can by hanging out with them at most beautiful places on this planet.

I have met some really cool and lovely people on Couchsurfing and have made some really sweet friends who have become important chapters in my life! And often it's very hard to say good bye but that's the beauty of couchsurfing and that's why I am on it ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love listening to soothing songs of all languages and I adore listening to instrumentals

Movies: I am not a big fan of movies but I like them when they are meaningful and well scripted. Some of them could be A walk to remember, Harry Potter series, Fault in our stars, Inception, A beautiful mind, 3 idiots, Lakshya, YJHD, ZNMD, RHTDM, Before sunrise triology. I just adore TV series F.R.I.E.N.D.S and I myself have lost count of the number of times I have watched it. Apart from these, I love watching documentaries related to aviation, history, politics, science, society, environment

Books: Radical acceptance, The Art of Happiness, The subtle art of not giving a f**k, Gifts of Imperfections, Bhagavad-Gita

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a just born baby. Yeah, it was my cousin and it was for the first time I had seen a baby just after birth. Although he was crying like anything (what else do you expect a just born baby to do? Hahaha) but it was truly beautiful

Hitchhiked in baltic, visited Chernobyl

I hiked for 106kms over six days as part of Tour de Mont Blanc with my friends

I once drove a car at freaking 239 kmph on German highway. It was thrilling but trust me I was scared from inside hahaha

Skydived in Fano, scuba in Spain

Saw snowfall for the first time

Have slept in tents in Interlaken beside the lake at -2 degrees hahaha

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach something about Indian Cuisine, few Indian Languages, tell you about Indian culture (even though I haven't been able to know it completely yet hahaha). Basically anything that you would like to know or learn

Would like to learn few sentences of your mother tongue or some recipe from your country. And I would love to know about your culture and traditions.

Sharing is caring. We should share humor, laughter, our experiences and lessons, stories, passions and much more because that's what connects us and teaches us about life

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will try my best to offer you wonderful hospitality, great company, introduce you to amazing Indian Food, comfortable stay, I can take you to a hill to show aircrafts taking off (its wonderful even though you are not a fan of airplanes) and last but not the least, amazing conversations

In return, I expect nothing but just one thing - If you can share with me the one and most important lesson you have learnt in your life. It could be about anything. (sounds boring? Hahaha but trust me it's totally worth it)
