Thank you to the many many wonderful hosts that have opened their homes and hearts to me and the surfers who have trusted me to steward their adventures. This community has enriched me beyond measure.

In your couch request, tell me a story from when you were a child so I know you actually read my profile and I'll be more likely to host you.

If I sent you a CS request:
-I will be communicative about contact and itinerary in a timely manner
-I will take an interest in your life and seek to learn from you
-I would love to cook for us
-I will contribute when we buy groceries, need gas, go to dinner, etc.
-I like to clean. Floors, dishes, and/or bathroom, whatever needs to be done.
-I shower. Daily.
-I will not use you as a hotel.
-I will be as flexible as I can be around your schedule, and search for activities that we both enjoy.

love hearing people's stories and ideas. can share experiences from the middle East, stories from work in the prison system, wilderness medicine, climbing, etc. Also, let's cook together! I can cook up middle eastern food, teach you how to make armenian omelets, many types of hummus, babaganoush, etc!
