1) We love to Host, but we will NOT host you if you have an empty profile. Please fill in some details, or at least send us a link to a recent social media profile (Facebook, AirBnB, etc) Couchsurfing/hosting is a matter of trust, and it makes it a lot easier to trust someone if they appear to be a 'real' person.

2) We prefer to not accept 'last minute' requests, unless you are stranded due to unforeseen issues (ie - vehicle broken down). Please book at least a week in advance, to give us time to prepare for hosting.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Starting a new life in Calgary, AB and we plan to start Surfing. In past years we've been Hosts and volunteer Ambassadors (retired) for CouchSurfing in Regina, SK. Hope to do some more Hosting in Calgary as we get settled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
Since joining CS we've hosted 100's of people from all over. We've managed to be guests enough times to make us better hosts. So far the CS experiences have been fantastic, with the occasional funny story.

Everything is good, but I shy away from country music. I love Massive Attack, Johnny Cash, Mortal, NIN, Lamb, Portishead, Infected Mushroom, Econoline Crush, and many more...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Most amazing thing I've seen was being in a canoe on a perfectly calm lake when the Northern Lights exploded on the mirror of the lake. It was like drowning in beauty. (I got a tattoo of this!)
