Alioune Badara is a business lawyer specializing in corporate governance. The duties of corporate governance lawyer include a set of processes that influence the way the company is operated, regulated and controlled, and good corporate governance meets ethical standards, best practices and applicable laws to protect shareholders; This raises several issues related to the effective control of corporate assets for the benefit of all stakeholders. Regarding his studies, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Gaston Berger University. (Saint-Louis, Senegal) master in Economic and Business Law. As a student, he was president of the law student union for two years. Subsequently appointed captain of the team that represented his university during the 3rd edition of the voice of young people competition. Their team won the competition at national (Voix des Jeunes Senegal, October 2018) and regional (Voix des Jeunes Afrique, January 2019) levels. He received the prize for the best hummingbird (awarded to the best participant in the competition). This achievement earned him the West African Leadership Summit Advocacy Award (Lagos, 2019). Alioune Badara is the first Senegalese admitted to the National Training Academy (NTA equivalent of the National School of Administration) of Egypt to represent his country in the prestigious African Presidential Leadership Program, program sponsored by the president of the African Union HE M. Abdel Fattah ElSisi, and aimed at the most remarkable young emerging leaders on the African continent. In terms of community services, he is a member of a global network of young active citizens working for positive change in communities, Junior Chamber International, since 2014. Within this organization, he has evolved within the local JCI organization Saint-Louis and held the highest administrative office of executive president in 2018. In 2019, he was elected senior legal adviser to the JCI Senegal National Steering Committee. In 2020, he was elected to the National Executive Committee to serve as Secretary General of JCI Senegal.
