¡Hola! Soy Luis Alberto, soy de Chiapaneco, Chiapas es un lugar lleno de selva, historia, comida sabrosa y gente cálida. Me gusta pensar que llevo un poco de todo eso conmigo cuando viajo. Tengo una curiosidad constante por el mundo y una gran necesidad de conectar de manera real con las personas.

Viajar para mí no es solo moverse, es intercambiar historias, ideas, risas, silencios cómodos y hasta ese cafecito en la cocina mientras hablamos de lo que sea. Me encanta explorar nuevos lugares, pero lo que más disfruto es conocer la manera en que otras personas viven, piensan y sienten.

Soy comunicador por naturaleza (y por profesión), tengo un podcast donde converso con personas que están haciendo cosas interesantes con sus vidas —una forma de seguir viajando con la mente. También me interesa la historia, la espiritualidad, la música, y últimamente he estado enfocado en mi salud, ejercicio y nutrición.

Como huésped soy muy respetuoso: valoro el espacio, las reglas y la energía del hogar donde me reciben. Me gusta ayudar en lo que pueda (lavar trastes, cocinar, escuchar, compartir lo que sé).

Si algún día pasas por mi tierra, también me encantaría mostrarte un poco de lo que soy, lo que somos por acá.

Couchsurfing para mí no es una app de hospedaje, es una forma de creer que todavía podemos confiar los unos en los otros. Y eso… eso ya vale el viaje.

For me, traveling isn’t just about moving from one place to another. It’s about exchanging stories, ideas, laughs, comfortable silences, and maybe a good cup of coffee while we chat about life. I love exploring new places, but what I truly enjoy is learning how others live, think, and feel.

I’m a communicator by nature, where I talk to people doing interesting things with their lives — kind of like traveling with the mind. I’m also into history, spirituality, music, and lately I’ve been focusing on my health, working out, and nutrition.

As a guest, I’m very respectful — I value your space, your rules, and the vibe of your home. I’m always happy to help out: washing dishes, cooking, listening, or sharing what I know.

Me gusta escuchar todo tipo de musica, realmente me los instrumentos los disfruto mucho, realmente no me considero una persona de libros, sin embargo puedo decir que he leido algunas obras de Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Juan Rulfo, Carlos Fuentes entre otros.

Me gustan mucho las películas de Alfonso Cuaron, Darren Aronofsky, Guillermo del Toro, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton.

Considero que mi pelicular favorita hasta ahora es el Cisne Negro de Darren Aronofsky.

I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, and I really appreciate musical instruments. I don't consider myself much of a book person, but I can say that I've read some works by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Juan Rulfo, Carlos Fuentes, among others.

I really like movies by Alfonso Cuaron, Darren Aronofsky, Guillermo del Toro, Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, and Tim Burton.

I consider my favorite movie so far to be "Black Swan" by Darren Aronofsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organizar un evento comunitario con otros surfers, para llevar comida a personas de escasos recursos en los hospitales de la ciudad.

Viajar 27 horas en carro, visitando el este de Canada y sin querer encontrar unos acantilados en Hallifax

Planear un viaje con amigos a un resort y terminar haciendo un solotrip de 21 dias finalizando con las muerteadas en Oaxaca. Increíble.

Organizing a community event with other surfers to bring food to people in need at hospitals in the city.

Traveling for 27 hours by car, visiting the eastern part of Canada and unintentionally stumbling upon cliffs in Halifax.

Planning a trip with friends to a resort and ending up taking a solo trip for 21 days, culminating with the Day of the Dead celebrations in Oaxaca. Incredible.
