Often keen on socializing. And always preparing the next trip. Basicaly I love everyghing concerning the outdoors like hiking, sailing, trail runing, biking, surfing, etc, etc. And due to my job I go to the countryside once or twice a week so I love it.
Recently I got a motorbike so I´m getting into a new way of traveling to me. Andalusia and Portugal by now but thinking of a big trip soon.
I work in the morning by weekday so if you are around I can show you Cádiz and the province in the afternoon and weekends. We can also go for some tapas+wine. Latin dancing. Or I can just show you around)
If you are around and interested in hiking in Cádiz province check out this site, you´ll find all routes, maps, etc:
And if you come by end of September/early October don´t miss the Alcances documentary film-festival! Really cool and unexpensive, check it out:
Wanna give a hand with beach clean-ups?
An Ecomercado every Saturday morning at Casa del Niño Jesus (next to Puerta Tierra), food market, local organic products, etc
Into latin dances? Latin social dance every Sunday evening at Pelicano
You´ll find me there!
My personal tips for sightseeing in Cádiz:
- Central Market. The place to take the pulse to the city and local life. Fish market, vegies, all kind of food stalls, tapas bars, local products, street musicians.
- Alameda. A beautiful park next to the sea, my favorite spot in Cádiz.
- Playa Caleta. This is the beach of the downtown, the sunset there is a must.
-TORRE TAVIRA. It´s a lookout tower, beautiful place to take a look to Cádiz.
- Museums in Andalucía
-Cultural agenda in Cádiz
Audaces fortuna iuvat
Life is to short to reject opportunities
Once I read this poem and I love it:
I like weird people.
The black sheep, the odd ducks, the rejects,
the eccentrics, the loners, the lost and forgotten.
More often than not,
these people have the most beautiful souls
(unknown I think)

The best thing to do in Cádiz is just walking around the old town and the sunset at Caleta beach, hanging out by the Central Market and enjoying a glass of Sherry wine. Let’s share it.
We can also explore Cádiz province, there are many hidden coners, deserted beaches, pueblos blancos.
I enjoy cooking very much so that´s great option too. And the best: cooking + a glass of wine + good music.
Also a tapas route in town plus some cultural activities.
A picnic no the beach!
Cádiz is a calm city but it´s hard to get bored over here
