I'm always excited to meet couchsurfers. I often write to locals when I travel. To meet, talk, share life experiences, exchange fun traveling stories.
I try to leave people in better shape than I found them.

Gap year in new Zealand.
Studied physics in NYC.
Worked in heights. Outside in -20°C and on the sun in 40°C. Installed hundreds of solar panels.
Taught skiing to kids.
Picked tons of fruit.
Got married (for a visa) and divorced.
Done yoga training. 10 day silent vipassana retreat, 3 times.
Doing standup and travelling presentations.
Walked alone for 2 weeks in the Himalayas.
Got arrested.
Got people arrested.
Got scammed few times. Never scammed anyone.
Been to protests in Belarus.
Visited Myanmar during civil war.
Tried various drugs. Fan of psychedelics.

Not necessarily proud of all these but it is what it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting Couchsurfers. They (You? We?) are the best people.
It's the simplest way to meet like-minded people and it's been a blessing to meet so many amazing people.
I've hosted, I've surfed but I most enjoy meeting Couchsurfers over a cold beer.
I don't surf much now but I regularly write locals to meet up whenever I'm in a new place. A lot of my personal references are thanks to these random messages.
I simply love good conversations and through CS I've had the best.

Music: mostly electronic. Used to be a metalhead. Celldweller and Savant are my all-time top artists.
Books: Phillip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, Ken Follett, George Orwell, Bernard Werber, Isaac Asimov, and many many more. One of my favourite hobbies.
Movies: Midnight in Paris, Scanner Darkly, Big Fish, Grandhotel Budapest, Coco. Rick and Morty for the win.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does being arrested count? I experienced the good cop/bad coop routine first hand.
Also, I helped to make a Guinness world record with the most people skinny dipping together. 506 naked people! Unfortunately, Aussies have the record now...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you life advice. No one ever asks for it, no one accepts it but I still give great advice :)
I can explain weird experiments in quantum mechanics. If they don't blow your mind I explained them badly!
I know a lot of music from different genres. I can accommodate almost any taste with something new.
I can teach the basics of yoga, meditation and breath exercises.
