About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to begin a trip to Europe, and I`m really excited about the weekends i'll have free. I want to travel as much as i can, as far as i can, as long as i can. On the other han, I really love how couchsurfing works, and can't wait to start being part of this awesome community.

Interests

I spend a great deal of time reading and listening about the world and it's problems and possible solutions. As a philosophy student, i am easily distracted with anything, because almost everything is interesting to me. Nowadays im focused on the ethical discussion, wich I think is utterly important in a world where the different cultures, perspectives and values are overlapping and interacting in many new ways.

I like to have fun too, though. I feel good when surrounded by nature, and have a strong love towards natural life. Manual works like woodworking or metalurgy have been always been very attractive to me, but i haven't had the opportunity of learning them. I love to sit down and have a good chat with interesting people, coffe and ciggarettes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic Rock in general, Argentine Rock and some bands of the recent hipster-movement is what i hear the most. I have developped a real phobia to raeggueton and bachata (you're lucky if you haven't heard that last one), but i am in general courious towards new bands and sounds.

I don't watch too many movies, but in my top ten are surely movies by Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, Scorsese and Hitchcock.

I read almost too much Cortázar, and like the most the latinamerican literature (that's ultimately the language im most comfortable in). Kerouac, Salinger and Poe would be my favorite american writers. I have read some of the classical european literature too, but mostly translated, which makes me think i have to read them again, in their original language. The rest is brought to me by my carreer: a LOT o philosophy, with a special mention to Wittgenstein, my platonic love :3

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach everything i know with certainty, and i will teach it if i have the opportunity. I want to learn everithing i don't know by now, so anything usefull/interesting that anybody can share with me is going to be great :D. Sharing is in many ways the thing I value the most.
