Hey!

I’m Alex, a 25-year-old pharmacy student at the University of Helsinki from Finland.

Adventure is a big part of who I am, and traveling keeps me inspired and connected to the world.
I visited 17 countries in 2024, 16 in 2025, and I’m currently at 3 in 2026 …with a goal of reaching 20 this year.

I’m passionate about staying active and creative. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, running, and going to the gym. I’ve also trained in karate for 10 years, and spent a year practicing both boxing and MMA.

Lately, I’ve been focusing on developing my artistic side:) especially painting and sculpting, which I’m really excited to improve.
I love meeting new people, learning new things, and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone.

My next big adventure? I’m planning to cycle from Nordkapp, Norway all the way down to Africa. Starting in 18.5.2026 To make it even more challenging, for the first time I’ve decided to travel with a zero-euro accommodation budget:D no hotels or hostels, just a tent and the open road.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

I like many types of music and I can listen to almost everything. My favourite genres are classical, pop, rap and movie soundtracks. I also listen to music in many different languages, you can also show me your favourites from your playlist.

Movies:

I find myself drawn to genres such as action, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, documentaries, and comedies. Each genre offers a unique experience,
There are a few actors who have captured my attention with their talent: Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Dwayne Johnson, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Brad Pitt. There are many more but those are my favorite.

Movies I love; Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings, Interstellar, The Matrix trilogy, Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit
I also like AnimalPlanet and discovery channels.

But lately I’ve just been to busy with my studies and travelling.

Books:

Books have always held a special place in my heart, transporting me to different worlds and expanding my imagination. Among my favorite authors are Arthur Conan Doyle, H.G. Wells, Mikhail Bulgakov and Jack London.

These authors have left an indelible mark on my literary journey, each with their unique storytelling abilities and captivating narratives.
I think I’ve read many books, so we can always have interesting discussion about them.
