About Me
I am not currently able to host due to roommate situation, apologies.
I am am open-minded, easy-going, respectful guy and I like to see and experience things that I never have before
I live in Brooklyn, NYC. I was working in tech until I got laid off (july '23) just days before a 3-week trip to visit Europe. In Europe I got to stay with some very kind hosts and ever since I've been much more actively looking to host and help people visiting NYC.
I am passionate about music and dancing and this past year have been getting really into DJing. I love the outdoors, travel, literature, cooking, technology, climbing, yoga, and much more.
I write a music newsletter where I help people keep up with exciting new releases - https://naturalmusic.substack.com/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So that I can travel while also getting to meet people from around the world and experience different cultures firsthand. I know how expensive NYC is so I would also love to help other travelers visiting.
Even if I can't host I am open to sharing some recommendations for your time here or to guide you towards the best music and parties during your time in the city

I couldn't even begin to describe my music tastes but I keep up avidly new independent music and dance music of all varieties. I share my love of music on my substack (https://naturalmusic.substack.com) to help people discover new tunes they love. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One summer I made it a goal to not drive more than I rode my bike, I ended up cycling 1100 miles that summer and driving about the same.
Went to Spain alone one spring break just to explore and make art.
Created a music blog and built up a remote team of 20 contributors during the pandemic to write content that reached 10s of thousands of people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone you ever meet knows something you don't. So the amount of things I could still learn is exponential.
I personally am very knowledgeable in music and art and would love to share my knowledge.
