Since I was a child I always liked studying maps and cities, and I took a degree in Civil Engineering with the purpose of making them better! I still haven't succeeded in this, but I like spending my holidays travelling and visiting new places to understand what it is like to live in them. So, what a better means to do this than couchsurfing? In particular I enjoy trips where I can get a great emotional feedback: like, breathtaking views and monuments, or hanging out with nice people... I still haven't travelled as much as I would like to, but I mean to catch up!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
This is my first time couchsurfing, but I think it's a terrific idea! Not only it allows you to travel on low expenses, it also can help you find ideal room mates and travel mates. You also get to live the places you visit like a local!
Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy watching movies, from the classics (Amarcord, Fanny and Alexander, Vertigo, Apocalypse Now) to science fiction (Alien, Blade Runner), to other more recent movies (Fight Club, Fargo, American Beauty, Donnie Darko, Les Intouchables, and many more). As regards music, I usually listen to rock bands such as Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, Muse. I also like some electronic music, especially Daft Punk. My favorite Italian artist is Franco Battiato. Finally I read everything I can get my hands on, as long as find it interesting and entertaining.
