Overview
About Me
I’m Ale, living in Berlin since 2018. I consider myself lucky, as with time I got to love Berlin more and more and I am also very stimulated by what takes most of my awaken time: a PhD in computational vision neuroscience.
I see myself as a rather honest and straightforward person, realistic, non-dogmatic, easy-going. I really like thinking and talking about social/personal/emotional topics, and connecting with people while sharing life stories and thoughts. And I also much appreciate humor!;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the past, while I was still living in Montecchio Precalcino with my mother and younger brother, my mother had a Couchsurfing profile and we hosted several people from all over the world for short (two or three days) and long (some weeks) periods. This gave me many nice memories, and so I started using Couchsurfing myself during my university years.
Interests
I love watching movies, discovering new music, reading, walking and being in nature, hiking in mountains, camping, philosophy, data science, minimalism, playing frisbee (learning some freestyle at the moment), Sunday pancakes, doing yoga, swimming in lakes and rivers, sunbathing, talking and listening to people to connect with them, bullshitting and laughing, cooking, learning, getting slightly stoned, editing images with GIMP, outdoor raves, drinking coffee, psychedelics.
