Ciao! I’m Alessio — born and raised in Italy, now based in vibrant Madrid after spending the last few years bouncing around more than 12 countries for work and adventure.

By day, I work as a Manager in a big European institution. By night (and weekends!), I turn into a curious wanderer, often found exploring the streets of a new city with a glass of the local drink in hand and a big smile on my face.

Traveling is my fuel. If you catch me grinning for no reason, it’s probably because I just booked a ticket to somewhere I’ve never been before. Suitcase half-packed already.

I'm into books, music, cooking (and eating!), and pretty much anything creative. I love soaking up local culture, hearing people’s stories, and getting inspired along the way.

I have a soft spot for kind, honest, and open-minded souls — the kind of people who make the world feel like home. Whether I’m hosting or being hosted, I’m always grateful for genuine connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past few years, I’ve had the chance to visit over 20 countries — meeting amazing people and getting a taste of cultures and lifestyles wildly different from my own. Honestly, none of this would’ve been the same without Couchsurfing.

Being part of this beautiful community means a lot to me. Wherever I’m based, I’m always happy to host fellow travelers and share stories, laughs, and a good plate of pasta (because let’s be real — everything’s better with a touch of Italy in it!).
