HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I want to offer my couch as well as my knowledge and love for my city - Houston (Austin, too)!! In addition, I hope to gain knowledge & new experiences for myself in other places around the world. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE In all honesty, I have not had to use couchsurfing all too much because of the friends I have met through my travels. However, while living in Guadalajara I would frequent the events put on by the local couchsurfing group. It was great because I always met people and through that couchsurfing outlet was able to plan trips and see much more than if I would have done so on my own.
