G'day everyone. My name is Alex I'm a 28 year old Australian working, living and travelling in Europe. Since graduating uni in 2014 I’ve spent four out of the last five years over here, because plain and simple it’s more interesting then back home. I figured why not hang around Europe for a while and become immersed in the culture before inevitably being hit by reality? Growing up sucks! As of November I've been living in the Swiss Alps working in the property management game. I consider myself a friendly, gregarious, confident, extroverted, out-going, hygienic, slightly pedantic and obsessive compulsive bloke that loves nothing more than a deep conversation over a drink or exploring and going on a new adventure. What you see is what you get with me, I'm rather straightforward, up-front and naturally inquisitive. I'll ask questions when I'm unsure of something and I'm an open-minded so long as it does not involve violence or ignorance. Sense of humour is an important trait for me, I can laugh at anything and everything however I tend to identify better with those who can enjoy the black, absurd and sarcastic type of humour. I can be philosophical, I can be theoretical, I can be rational, I can be political..it is futile to in identify yourself as something static. I find the greatest gift in life is being able to communicate effectively with all walks of life and having the ability to be flexible, to acknowledge, to understand and to appreciate alternative beliefs and opinions. After all, it is who we are that is what makes us different and we require the courage to tolerate and express our ideals. I could talk for days and I promise not to be just a random using your house. To me, it is important to embody the CS spirit, even if I am quite new to this. It would be great just to hang out with someone in a foreign city for a day even if I choose to stay in hostels.
