Hi, I'm Alex! I'm from Australia and I am currently travelling Latin America. One of my main goals for this trip other than to have the best time possible is to learn to speak Spanish well. I'm studying and improving every day, and I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet and speak with local people and improve even faster.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like action movies, but my all-time favorite movie would have to be The Peanut Butter Falcon. I don't think I have a favorite book, but I really like the Author Hampton Sides. He writes great true stories about history. For music currently listening to a lot of Reggaeton to help with my Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became a Scuba Divemaster while working on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. For five months I worked on the reef, learning so much about diving and the Marinelife. I worked with a great crew of people and was even given the opportunity to work as an underwater photographer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean, help with odd jobs. English is my first language, so I can help teach a little or converse with you to help practice or improve your English.
