Hello everyone!
We are Alexey and Elena – the most loving family in the world! And we have two super daughters!

We are originally from Moscow and, after a series of tragic events in our homeland, immigrated to sunny Kutaisi, Georgia.
We became interested in couchsurfing back in Russia, and here in Georgia, our hospitality hobby grew into a professional activity, and we opened The Friends Hostel, where we earn our living and continue to constantly grow our business.
At first, we had doubts about continuing to participate in Couchsurfing and whether it would create a conflict of interest, but we always believe in the win-win principle, where we can help each other without losing anything.
So, some of our guests volunteered a little for us, one guy was very helpful with the renovations (hi there!), and some helped with brand promotion, ideas for the hostel, collecting feedback, or simply writing positive reviews, and sharing us on their social media. In general, we're open to dialogue if you have something to offer.
We're very busy right now, developing our project, and we don't always see current requests from couches in a timely manner, for which we apologize in advance. We'd also like to warn you that we don't always have the time to give you enough personal attention.

But if you enjoy board games with Georgian wine, or simply sharing your adventure stories, and want to stake out an hour or two in the evening, we're all for it!

Basically, you can stay with us both as a regular client and as a couchsurfer (but not always, and with some restrictions).
Come visit us, our doors are always open!

Мы Алексей и Елена - самая лучшая любящая семья на свете! И у нас 2 супер- дочки!
Мы родом из Москвы и после череды печальных событий на родине имигрировали в солнечную Грузию в Кутаиси.
Каучсерфингом мы увлеклись ещё в России, а здесь в Грузии наше хобби гостеприимности переросло в профессиональную деятельность и мы открыли The friends хостел, за счёт которого живем и продолжаем постоянно развивать наш бизнес.
Сначала у нас были сомнения, стоит ли продолжать участвовать в КС, и не создает ли это нам конфликт интересов, но мы всегда верим в принцип win-win, где можно помочь друг-другу, при этом ничего не теряя.
Так, часть наших гостей немного волонтерили у нас, один парень очень помог с ремонтом (приветище тебе!), часть помогали с раскруткой бренда, идеями для хостела, сбором обратной связи или просто хорошими словами в отзывах, и шарили нас в своих соцсетях.
В общем мы открыты к диалогу, если вам есть, что предложить.
Сейчас у нас очень много работы, мы развиваем наш проект, и не всегда вовремя видим актуальные заявки от каучей, о чем заранее извиняемся. Также мы хотели бы предупредить, что не всегда у нас есть время, чтобы достаточно дать вам личного внимания.

Но если вы любите настольные игры под грузинское вино, или просто рассказать свои истории приключений, и хотите "застолбить" час-другой вечером - мы за!)

В общем, вы можете погостить у нас и как обычный клиент и как каучсерфер (но, не всегда и с некоторыми ограничениями).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

I've been involved in various entrepreneurial endeavors with varying degrees of success, and I also love building and crafting. I recently opened a ceramics studio in Kutaisi, where you can try your hand at making clay objects.
I also love nature, camping, hiking, snowboarding, SUP surfing, rock climbing, and am especially interested in caving, where I usually spend my weekends.

Я занимался разными видами предпринимательской деятельности с разной степенью успеха, а также люблю строить и мастерить что-то своими руками. Недавно я открыл керамическую мастерскую в Кутаиси, где вы можете попробовать изготовить что-то из глины своими руками.
Я также люблю природу, кемпинг, походы, сноуборд, сапсёрфинг, скалолазание и особенно интересуюсь спелеологией, где и проводу обычно свои выходные.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once got lost in a wild cave nearby, with several kilometers of explored paths, and the last flashlight was running out of battery. I'll remember that for a long time.
