I’m Alejandro, I’m 35 years old and I’m from Murcia (Spain), although I’m currently living in the Canary Islands.

I consider myself a calm, curious and very sociable person. I love meeting new people, sharing stories and learning how people live in different places.

For me, travelling is not just about visiting tourist sights, but about connecting with local culture, trying street food, wandering aimlessly and having good conversations.

I’m respectful, independent when needed and always very grateful for any help. I adapt easily and always try to bring good energy at home… and also good food, because I love cooking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Bruxelles twice to do Couchsourfing, I host a two boys one week in my house in Italy. In fact, one of this guys, now is living in my flat whit me. After that Airbnb appears and I though this app was dead. I saw that is alive and I wanna give it a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most meaningful things I’ve done was deciding to leave my comfort zone in Madrid and move to the Canary Islands on my own two years ago. I didn’t know anyone there at the beginning, but little by little I built a new life, new friendships and a new home.

That experience taught me how adaptable I am, how kind people can be everywhere, and how important it is to stay curious and open to life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I’m an artisan and I love working with my hands, so I’m always happy to share what I know about traditional crafts and creative projects. I also really enjoy cooking, so if we have time I’d love to prepare a Spanish meal together 🇪🇸

Learn:
I love learning from other people — whether it’s about culture, daily life, language, photography or just how you see the world. I’m very curious by nature.

Share:
I speak Spanish, English and Italian, and I enjoy sharing languages, good conversations, stories from the road and simple moments. I’m also an entrepreneur, so I’m always open to exchanging ideas about projects, creativity and life.
