I'm Alicia and I currently live in Zürich with four awesome flatmates.
I’m always glad to meet new people and very curious about other cultures, lifestyles and attitudes towards life. There is so much I can learn from meeting others!
I always have an open ear and would describe myself as open minded and easygoing. I never get upset, if you want you can try 😂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and was lucky to get a lot around with my family. When I think back to my trips, the best experiences I had were less about the sightseeing than about the people I met. That's the reason why I wanted to join CS. I've been considering it for a while, but didn't want to couchsurf without also hosting myself. Since I have some spare place in my room and that all my flatmates are fine with me hosting couchsurfers, I'm happy to welcome you at my home!

Interests

That doesn’t make it easier to pursue them all as I would like to do… here are just a few more upcoming interests, which I haven’t done for very long yet, but intend to pursue: surfing, kitesurfing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, telemark, playing chess, learn to do better chocolate truffles 😋

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm glad to teach you anything I know. If you are into languages, you can practice your French, German and to a certain degree your Danish conversation with me. Since I'm always pretty busy, I will probably not have time to show you around in Zürich. However, I regularly go bouldering and I'd be happy to bring you with me. I'm also always down for a quick jump in the river and the lakes around Zürich (even in winter).

I love learning new things! I generally never say no to things I've never tried. Just propose ;) That could be literally anything ranging from new meals and cooking techniques to a new language through some new sports. Anything you can come up with would be very welcome!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to buy some food, cook for you or with you and talk about anything that comes to our minds. If you have some diet just let me know, I’m always happy to try out new things 😃
If you have time, we could visit something, do some sport together or anything else you might come up with. If I have some ideas or plans I will let you know and you will be more than welcome to join 😁
