My name is Alisa!

Currently living in Belgrade, but spent 10 years living abroad. I finished high school in Norway and university in the USA. I decided to come back home to Serbia after my studies. I fell in love with Belgrade...it's truly the European city that never sleeps :)
I'm half Serbian and half Guyanese (a pretty rare combination!)

I have two university degrees- Art History (focus in Film history and theory) and Photography. My day job is working as an Art Manager for an animation studio which creates visuals for games, but I always work on independent art projects on the side. I am passionate about photography and fashion design.

I am also deeply interested in tarot and astrology, something that I have been researching and learning for the last 5 years. I don't look at it as a "gateway to the future", but just as curiousity towards the many potential paths for life, purely based on energy and how we're connected to universal consciousness

I love to travel and try my best to visit new countries every year. So far I've been to 50 countries.

Last year Turkey made the 50 country mark! I did a backpacking trip of all of the major archeological and cultural sites of eastern Turkey

I don't use Couchsurfing often, so I don't have a lot of references..but I promise I am a great guest :)

I am currently looking for a place to stay in Berlin for two or three nights (whichever is more comfortable for the host), since the prices of rentals are currently really high.

I am visiting Berlin for a Keeley Forsyth concert. The ticket was a birthday present from my best friend
